GloBAS Engineering and HEXAGON MSC Software are glad to announce the online multidisciplinary structural analysis workshop based on the sophisticated and award-winning application – MSC Nastran.
Engineers all over the world use MSC Nastran to ensure structural systems have the necessary strength, stiffness, and life to preclude failure (excess stresses, resonance, buckling, or detrimental deformations) that may compromise structural function and safety. MSC Nastran is also used to improve the economy and passenger comfort of structural designs.
GloBAS Engineering, as an official distributor of HEXAGON MSC Software in the Middle East region, is honored to host this online workshop, especially for MENA engineers to support growing local R&D and manufacturing facilities.
Over 60 years HEXAGON is considered as a global well-respected leader in software simulations software solutions. During the one-hour workshop, the known industry experts from HEXAGON will be showcasing their experience in simulation applications and sharing practical examples from different verticals.
The workshop agenda will include three main parts:
1.Hexagon developments and ongoing updates for breakthrough innovations for structural analysis and general overview of MSC Nastran capabilities, including:
-Linear and non-linear analysis
-Optimization studies
-Convergence of Machine Learning and Superelements
-Combination of structural and acoustic functionalities
2.Example of industrial workflows
a.Automotive industry
-NVH for ICE and electrical vehicles
-Welded and bolted subassemblies structural performance
b.Aerospace industry
-Strength and Stiffness of aircraft parts and assemblies
-Aeroelasticity
3.LIVE Demonstration of MSC Apex and MSC Nastran
-Simple linear dynamic analysis
-Non-linear static analysis leveraging SOL 400
The demonstration will be followed up by a Q&A session from participants. We invite mechanical engineers to Register and Join this unique engineering workshop to extend their knowledge about the innovative simulation opportunities and familiarize themselves with the worldwide practice of modern engineering tools application.
